Formed in the fall of 2008 with the help of a generous grant from the Sherwood Foundation, the Walla Walla Symphony Youth Orchestra is dedicated to being a FUN AND FREE learning experience for everyone involved. Our goal is to provide young musicians ages 10-20 a unique opportunity to rehearse and perform in a large ensemble alongside other musicians from across eastern Washington and northern Oregon.
The orchestra is under the music direction and leadership of Benjamin Gish, an accomplished cellist, conductor and music educator. For more information about Benjamin Gish, click here.
The orchestra rehearses regularly on Sundays.
